Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 13, 2026

In short. Our apps collect nothing about you and send nothing to us — we do not run a server that could receive it. This website collects the ordinary things a website collects. We do not sell personal information, we use no advertising identifiers, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Introduction

Oxin Studio Inc. (“Oxin Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through oxinstudio.com and our applications, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written to apply across all current and future Oxin Studio apps, so it stays accurate as our product lineup grows.

Information We Collect

  • Information you provide. Name, email address, and any details you send us by email or by post.
  • Website usage data. Standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited.
  • App purchases. Where you buy one of our apps through an app store, that purchase is processed directly by the platform — Oxin Studio does not receive or store your payment details.

Our Apps

These statements apply to every Oxin Studio app, on every platform:

  • Nothing reaches us. We do not operate servers that receive data from our apps. There is no account to create, no analytics package, no crash-reporting service, and no advertising or tracking identifier in any of them.
  • Your content stays yours. Documents, files and personal content you open in our apps are not transmitted to us, and we have no means to read them.
  • When an app uses the network, it talks to the party you asked for. A site you chose to open, a publisher whose feed you subscribed to — not to us, and never through us.
  • Where an app syncs between your devices, it uses your own iCloud account. That data sits in Apple’s private database under your Apple Account. We cannot read it. Sign out of iCloud and it simply stays on the device.
  • Anything optional that involves a third party is off until you turn it on, says so plainly before you do, and is described below.

App-Specific Notes

Only where an app does something the section above does not already cover.

Corante — news reader for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch

  • Article text and images come straight from the publisher. When you open an article, your device requests it directly from that publisher’s website, exactly as a browser would, and that publisher sees an ordinary web request from your device. Fetched text and images are cached only on the device that fetched them.
  • Online feed search is optional and off by default. If you turn on “Search Online for Feeds,” the words you type when adding a feed are sent to Feedly’s public feed directory (cloud.feedly.com) so it can suggest matching publications. Only those words are sent, only when you type them, and it can be switched off again in Settings. Browsing by topic instead contacts no one at all — that list ships inside the app.
  • Diagnostics say nothing about what you read. “Copy Diagnostics” in Settings puts your app version, system version and a few counts on your clipboard, deliberately without feed names or addresses, and sends them nowhere.

How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to questions you send us.
  • To provide, maintain, and improve our website and app products.
  • To communicate updates about products or services you have engaged with.
  • To meet legal and accounting obligations.

Cookies & Analytics

Our website may use cookies or similar technologies for basic functionality and, where enabled, analytics. You can control or disable cookies at any time through your browser settings. Our apps use no cookies, no analytics and no tracking technologies of any kind.

Third-Party Services

We may share limited information with service providers who help us run our business — for example, hosting providers, email services, and the relevant app store for purchases and distribution. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Content held inside an app lives on your device and is removed by the app’s own settings or by deleting the app.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, write to us at [email protected]. Data an app keeps in your own iCloud account is under your control rather than ours: remove it from the app, or through your Apple Account settings.

Children’s Privacy

Our website and apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date above.
