Trips aren't being logged when the app is closed

In the iOS Settings app, open Susa Mileage, then Location, and choose Always. Also turn on Motion & Fitness. Without Always, iOS lets the app measure only while it's open.

A walk or a bus ride was logged as a drive

Open the trip and tap Remove from log, with a reason. The trip stays in the history, which is what tax offices expect, but it no longer counts.

Why can't I just delete a trip?

A tax office can reject a logbook that can be changed without a trace. Susa Mileage keeps every version so your log holds up if you're ever asked for it.

Do I need to record my odometer?

Canada and some other countries ask for the odometer on the first and last day of the tax year. Open Vehicles, choose your vehicle and tap Add odometer reading. A photo of the dashboard makes it proof.

Where is my data stored?

On your device and in your own iCloud Drive. We don't run a server, so nothing reaches us. See the privacy policy.

Is the report enough to file my taxes?

It gives you the figures and the log your tax office asks for, using the rates published on official government sites. Susa Mileage is not a tax adviser, so check with your accountant before you file.
