Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of oxinstudio.com and the apps we publish (Khayyam PDF Editor, Calamo, New File Creator, and Rumi). By using our website or apps, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use them.

Use of Our Website

You agree to use oxinstudio.com only for lawful purposes and in a way that doesn’t infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use of, this site by anyone else.

Client Engagements

Custom development, design, and consulting services are governed by a separate signed agreement or statement of work between Oxin Studio and the client, which takes precedence over these general terms for that engagement.

App Products & Licenses

Calamo and New File Creator are distributed as paid, one-time-purchase apps through the Mac App Store, subject to Apple’s standard licensing terms in addition to these terms.
Khayyam PDF Editor (macOS) and Rumi are free for personal use, distributed directly from this site.
Khayyam PDF Editor for Windows is open source under the AGPL-3.0 license; source code is available on GitHub, and use is additionally governed by that license.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and app assets — is owned by Oxin Studio Inc. or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws, except where an app is separately licensed as open source.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website and free/paid apps are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that our apps will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oxin Studio Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or apps.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or apps after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
